Cynthia is our Senior Registered Dental Hygienist. She was been working with Dr. Estler for over
12 years. Cynthia is an alumnus of the
University of Texas Dental Branch receiving an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene
then returning to school at Texas Women’s University in Denton to obtain a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.
Her dedication to dental health led her to a position with Houston
Independent School District. There, Cynthia
developed and coordinated the dental health education for the entire school
district. She visited all the schools to
promote dental hygiene and conduct dental health screenings. Cynthia is dedicated to dental health,
periodontal health, and systemic health with a special commitment to children
and teens. Cynthia is the recipient of
the 2007 Distinction in Dental Hygiene Award and is listed in the 2012 Who’s
Who of Executives and Professionals. She
is a certified CPR instructor and conducts classes when not treating patients
at our office. Her special interests
include: reading, arts & crafts, knitting & crochet, quilting,
decorating, and “boot camp” style exercise.
Cynthia, her husband, and 3 daughters are active members in their church
and community outreach programs that serve much of the Houston area.
Amanda joined our staff as a Registered Dental Hygienist
recently, but she is not new to our practice.
After working as a dental hygiene assistant at our office, she left for
2 years to attend the Utah College of Dental Hygiene. We were honored that she wanted to return to
Katy to work for us even though much of her family is located in Utah. As a new graduate, she has been trained in
the latest techniques and equipment used for preventive dental care. Her practice goal is to help all her patient
achieve better health and wellness.
Amanda enjoys cycling, sewing, quilting, knitting and spending time with
her husband.
